As part of National Guard Health Affairs plan of new hospitals, the hospital project is a 6-storey hospital building located in Al Taif. The hospital, with a capacity of 500 beds, will provide healthcare to some 700,000 residents of the city. The hospital has additional space for future expansion; the main building has an area of 34,230 square meters.

The project works commencement date is expected to be within Q1 2019. Currently, CSI technical office team is preparing all the technical preliminary reports, design review reports and test packs
